There is still hope for some guys!

I have been dealing with my husband not giving us enough "us" time. In other words, he works, he plays, and I take care of the kids! I am an at home mom, but that doesn't mean I what to live my entire life from my house!

I tried all last year to get him into the groove of taking me out every once in awhile or the shit was going to start flying! I was getting so pissed off at him it was unreal!

Yet, some how he finally got the message and is now doing something about it! Every payday, about once every two weeks after he gets paid he takes me out to dinner and maybe a movie. If we had more left over money we would do it more, but now he is starting to get little weekend trips together! He knows I love fishing, and it's just one thing I don't like taking the girls along for all the time. My 5 yr old started fishing with me two years ago and her frist fish was a 8lb rainbow trout! I was so proud of her, but taking her along with me isn't my idea of getting away from it all. Every so often I don't mind, she needs to get her hours in for fishing too, but it's a way of refreshing myself. So anyways... he has been looking at taking me to a resort up here in Northern Minnesota for a weekend getaway and some fishing!

So if your guy sucks at doing things together with you because you have kids and no extra money, don't worry there's hope, just relax and wait it out, this to shall pass, lol....
