How do you define HOT?

I read this article about the 'not so hot' celebrities and saw that many of them, I admire so much and find them really HOT. Jut because one was not gifted with good looks doesnt mean he or she cant be hot. Do looks really matter? When do you say that a person is HOT?

I also find some people from that list very hot and attractive - I adore Sarah Jessica Parker:), Barbra Streisand is one of my favorite actresses - her charm is unbelievable!And Renee Zellweger!
