This is one of my favorite looks on this model....her eyes look so beautiful. We have a fantastic make up artist who is so knowledgeable in her field, and we continually get different looks from her, on each DVD. This is a smokey eye look from our Bridal DVD, which anyone can use for other occasions. She is our Renaissance bride in this tutorial. I like your opinion on make up, I think I look good without it, but wow with it!! So why not wear it?

One of my all time favorite addition to my huge make up stash this year, is the Magic Lash Enhancer from overallbeauty.com. I have had the privilege to work with the lovely lady who owns this site, and she has made me a true believer in her magic lash enhancer!! Even though we show in our tutorials how to apply false eyelashes, cut them, decorate them and so on, personally I can't be bothered with that!! The lash enhancer takes me seconds more in my morning make up routine and I get so many good comments about the length of my lashes!! I have to say I will always have this in my stash no matter what the fashion trend is!

I have been using Magic Lash for over three years now, and I always get people asking me if I am wearing fake lashes. Its super simple to use once you get the hang of it. lol

I am amazed. I am in Scotland, and when I ask around about mineral make up, which is so big in America, I get a blank look!! Mmmm...interesting. The only thing I found was I believe it is L'oreal that has a new product, a mineral foundation. But that is it. The ladies at the counter didnt know anything about mineral eyeshadows. I am wondering if the bigger cities have introduced it?

Leave it up to us silly Americans to be so into something that we expect the rest of the world to be into it as well! :) Its very interesting that the name brand companies such as L:'oreal haven't introduced it, they like other big big makeup companies are not based in the US. They do have a lot of products that have minerals in them, but just minerals? Not many, that seems to be something a small company does. Its not very cost affected for a major big company to use only pure minerals.
Mineral makeup is something being so pure, and created from the earth would be something that you expect to start in California and the rest of the world then follows. At least that the way it seems a lot of the times. lol
Not everyone knows what mineral makeup is, or why its better for your skin. Or they may of tried the number one brand out there (BareMinerals) and had a bad reaction to it. (Their fountain made my face itch and break out). Mineral makeup is easy to use, not extra fillers in it and its better for your skin. (Just don't sleep it as the AD on tv says you can, shouldn't do that with any makeup, like duh!)
Maybe we are just more into natural based makeup? Any other so call tree huggers out there got any ideas? (I live in California, how could I not want to save the world, going natural all the way! LOL)

I always see the pattern, flying between 2 countries. Like, when capuccino and coffee bars started out in places like Seattle at first. I would travel to UK and know that it would become popular here one day. And of course it did!! I could have made a million many times over if I had done something about it first!! So, now here I am seeing NO mineral make up here....interesting. I guess it will make its way across the big pond at some point.

Just how long did it take Starbucks to take over the coffee world? Now they have plans to open 6 new stores every day somewhere! And don't even ask how much they spend for a single cup of coffee (their cost 23 cents, your cost 4.00, ouch!) But as a coffee lover even I will pay that much for someone else to make it sometimes. A lot of things such as Starbucks, BareMinerals, BB Couture Massage Organic Candles, all started with an idea, that someone had for something no one else thought of or improved upon.
But isn't that want the world runs on? People thinking up better ways to use what we all ready have? Or like a lot of small handcrafted products started out because someone's child had a reaction to it, and the mom thought , You know I know how to make this so he won't react to it. And a natural skincare line is born. Michele, lady of the herbs, started out when her son had such a problem. (I have been her guinea pig for new ideas she has lol, two legged testers are always better than the four legged kind, I talk back!) Creating something better that will help others is something we all can do.

I absolutely agree with you that creating something better that will help others is something we all can do. And when somebody creates something good, it spreads around the world. I hope mineral make up will come to Ukraine one day:) I've never heard about it here.

That is so interesting for me to hear. You don't have the mineral make up yet? I would love to send you some samples if you give me your address. You will love it!! It is so pure, and not as bad for your skin. You can take a color and use as eyeshadow, eye liner, blush, lipstick and even add to a clear nail polish for your nails!! I am amazed visiting here in Scotland that very few people have even heard about it yet. When I get back to Florida I will send you some..
