Before I graduated from college, I made a promise to my Sociology professor that I’ll devote at least six months to social work. I haven’t been involved in any community service before so it kinda makes me feel jittery. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to last long or not.
While I was writing my
custom essays in Sociology, I realized that people who have been financially deprived for years need more than just money but attention as well. Like when I visited a jail cell, the inmates there had been longing for their family – especially those
incarcerated parents who have been away from their children.
Seeing their condition, I feel very blessed to see my parents almost every month and spend quality time with them. I wish I could do something more than just a visit to parents who didn’t have a chance to witness their children’s growth.

Now, I’ve been involved in a non-profit organization for orphan children for three years as a researcher and instructor for volunteers. Currently working on a
term paper in Public Service, I will always remember the beginning of my quest in serving people who need most help.
