Is there pressure for people to get married?

I think that if people have a very serious relationship that lasts for a long time, it's better to have a wedding, that's so romantic:)

I guess it depends on which society you're living in. I know if a couple has been together for "too long" say 4-5 years without getting married ppl start wondering why, oh they should get married before it's too late, isn't it about time they marry? I guess there's not as much pressure now as there used to be. In my society many couples just live together, because they don't have the financial means, or because one of them isn't divorced yet or just because marriage is a big step, or for whatever reason... but for many ppl marriage seems to be the way forward.
