Hi! I'm Niq. I'm a writer, photographer, blogger, Filipino-born German-French-Indian-Chinese-Malay girl living in Manila.
I was recently forced out of a relationship and have been on a tumultuous emotional roller coaster ride. Let's put it this way, because of this, I started taking boxing lessons and it's just kicking major drama ass!
I've recently discovered the wonderful world of partying. When there's nothing else better to do during the weekends, it's off to the streets with my gal pals--high-heels, motorcycle jackets and all. What can I say? I managed to dig up a Georgina Sparks in me--hot and tough little witchy chick.
This year, I am going to start my hard-core traveling plans. Australia. Austria. Spain. Italy. Greece. New Zealand. Japan. China. Great Britain. France. Ireland. I am going to conquer the world one country at a time.

I love all things beautiful. Photography. Art. Landscapes. Waterscapes. Art. Design. Architecture. Jewelry.
I take care of myself. I think its always important to keep healthy and active. I make it a point to take walks, go hiking with my friends, and dance to whatever beat is playing in my iPod.
I love reading--serious literature like War & Peace (Leo Tolstoy), chic-lit, hard-core sci-fi and fantasy. But I have a soft spot for all of Jane Austen's & JRR Tolkien's works.
My ex can vouch for me--I'm a mean cook, but I don't eat as much as I cook (vain, much???). If given the chance, I'd entertain and throw parties every week. I love seafoods and salads and have recently gone completely crazy over mustard and smoked chicken over whole wheat crackers. Yum.
I'm obsessed about shopping. Shoes in particular.
I love the movies, attending concerts and musicals. I love cafe chilling and dining out with family and friends. I think picnics are sweet and good ol' barbeques are fantastic. I used to shy away from clubs and bars, but after my break-up, my gal pals have showed me the joys that can be derived from a good seat in front of the bar and dancing carefree--though moving to the beat of the music in high heels can be a bit painful in the knees!
Then again, nothing beats the life of a couch potato: sitting on a plush couch with the curtains drawn, eating pizza or Chinese take-out, in my jammies watching dirt on TV. I'm proud to have been raised a home girl.
I also like perving on guys with my gal pals. Yes. I love guys. Especially hot white guys. So sue me.
As a whole, it takes a lot out of me to live a balanced life. Crazy. Serious. Hyper. Hypo. Fun. Boring. Brainy. Ditsy. Yada. Yada.
